This twice-annual survey began in 2010, tracking changes in the gift funds received by charities in the U.S. and Canada. Special topics have included the annual fund, capital campaigns, the board's role in fundraising, and others.
Authors Meehan and Jonker retained MSBrown & Associates to do some background research, bibliographic sleuthing, and forecasts about charitable giving. This book is an "actionable guide that executives, staff, board members, and donors can use to jumpstart their own performance and to achieve extraordinary results for their organization."
With Xioanan (Coco) Kou, I wrote a chapter in the 3rd edition (2010) of Achieving Excellence in Fundraising about generational differences in giving. The book is a useful guide to fundraising generally, with topics ranging from planning to using social media.
In the 4th edition (2015), I had the terrific privilege of working with James Greenfield, ACFRE, FAHP, on a chapter about budgeting for fundraising.
