The new report at npresearch.org shows that it takes all channels (mail, email, social media, etc.) and sometimes special messaging based on generational interests. We cannot assume that someone in a certain age group does or does not respond to Facebook appeals or to a letter received at home. Each individual has preferences, and as effective fundraisers, we need to use all of the tools we can.
